Where are the wallpapers and cut-outs made?
All our products are printed in Quebec.
What are the wallpapers printed on?
Our wallpapers are printed on prepasted wallpaper or self-adhesive vinyl wallpaper.
Prepasted wallpaper is a PVC-free material with a matte finish and printed using eco-friendly water-based inks. It is a permanent wall covering, but you can remove it by moistening it with plenty of water. Simply submerge it in water to activate the adhesive. This is the easiest solution to install.
Self-adhesive wallpaper is a PVC-based vinyl with a matte finish. This is a temporary “peel and stick” type covering, which you can easily remove within a year after putting it up. However, we strongly recommend that you hire a professional for installation.
What material are the cut-outs made from?
The cut-outs, which allow you to create your own designs, are made from self-adhesive PVC-based vinyl with a matte finish. This is a temporary “peel and stick” type covering, which you can easily remove within a year after putting it up. It is very easy to install.
Will the product’s colour be similar to what appears on the screen?
As colours vary from one screen to another, we cannot guarantee that the colour of your wallpaper will be identical to the one displayed on your screen. To confirm the colours and patterns of a wallpaper, you can order samples.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payment by credit card, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. You can also pay for your purchase with PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Are the transactions secure?
We take all necessary measures to protect the personal information we collect, use and store. The payment system is completely secure, and all data is encrypted using the SSL security protocol when it is transmitted over the Internet.
Can I place a special order?
Yes, we can produce a fully customized cut-out or wallpaper. If you can’t find the pattern you’re looking for in our catalogue, or if you need a product in a specific size, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What are the delivery charges?
Delivery charges depend on the delivery address and are calculated based on the postal code at the final step of the order. Deliveries within Canada for orders over $300 (before taxes) are free of charge.
When customs fees are charged by the authorities in the buyer’s country, these fees must be paid by the buyer. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check with the authorities in their country before placing the order.
How long does delivery take?
When payment for the order is received, printing a wallpaper or cut-out currently takes two to three business days. Delivery time is two to seven business days for a shipment within Canada, and six to twelve days for a shipment to the United States. Faster delivery services are available at the final step of the order.
Please note that the processing of packages at customs may take a few extra days. Station D is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or any problems related to the delivery service.
Can I track a delivery?
After placing an order, you will receive a tracking number by email once your product is printed and the shipping label is created. This will allow you to track your order on the Canada Post website.
Where does Station D deliver?
For now, Station D offers a delivery service in Canada and the United States only.
IMPORTANT: Please read the instructions carefully before installing a product. Station D cannot be held responsible for problems related to surface preparation and installation mistakes.
Where can I install the products?
It is best to install the wallpaper or cut-outs on a smooth and well prepared surface (no holes, roughness or bumps – see our recommendations below). If the surface is not properly prepared, the wallpaper may not stick to the wall.
How do I prepare a wall for installation?
- Make sure the surface is smooth by repairing holes and bumps with plaster. Allow to dry, and then sand.
- Apply a primer over the plaster, followed by a high-gloss or semi-gloss paint on the surface to be covered. Do not install wallpaper or cut-outs directly on plaster or primer.
- Allow to dry for 30 days before applying the wallpaper or cut-outs.
- Just before installation, wipe the surface with a damp cloth (avoid cleaning products that could affect adhesiveness) and allow to dry.
How do I install prepasted wallpaper?
Prepasted wallpaper is fairly easy to install. Simply dip each strip in water to activate the adhesive, and then apply it to the wall using a squeegee. Be sure to read the detailed installation instructions on our website.
How do I install vinyl wallpaper?
Installing self-adhesive vinyl wallpaper of the “peel and stick” type requires some experience. Be sure to read the detailed installation instructions on our website. However, we strongly recommend that you hire a professional for installation.
How do I install vinyl cut-outs?
Self-adhesive vinyl cut-outs are very easy to install. Simply peel the film off the back and stick the cut-out on your chosen spot by pressing down firmly. For larger cut-outs, transfer paper makes it easier to handle when the film on the back is removed. Simply remove the transfer paper once the cut-out is applied to the wall. Be sure to read the detailed installation instructions on our website.
Can vinyl products be reused?
No, vinyl products are for single use only. However, they are easy to remove within a year after you put them up, and they allow you to easily change your décor!
What do I do in case of a mistake or problem?
Prepasted wallpaper: You can move a strip while it is still wet. Remove it gently and reposition it immediately. Once a strip is dry, it will be very difficult to remove without damaging it.
Vinyl wallpaper or cut-outs: During installation, you can easily remove a strip of wallpaper or a cut-out and reposition it. Over time, vinyl products may become more difficult to remove.

Exchanges and returns
Are exchanges and returns accepted?
Station D accepts returns ONLY if the products are defective. If your product has been damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, send us a photo of the defective product to email@example.com within 10 days of receiving your package. We will contact you to follow up.
We do not exchange or refund products whose colours or dimensions are not suitable. To ensure that your wallpaper is in the right colours, you can order samples. In addition, please properly measure the area to be covered before placing your order.
We cannot be held responsible if a mural does not stick due to improper surface preparation or if it has not been properly installed. Be sure to read the instructions before applying the mural.
