Mural and Wallpaper
A mural is made up of unique panels, numbered at the bottom. To ensure the continuity of the pattern, it is essential to install them in numerical order. Since each panel is distinct, a cut piece cannot be used to fill a space elsewhere on the wall.
As for wallpaper, all the panels are identical. However, it is crucial to follow the direction indicated at the bottom of each panel, where an arrow serves as a guide. To ensure pattern alignment, a panel cannot be cut into several sections and placed side by side. To do so, one must consider the pattern repeat distance.
At Station D, we mainly recommend pre-pasted wallpaper because it is PVC-free, easy to install, and more economical than the adhesive wallpaper. It offers a smooth finish and a warm white tone that we particularly appreciate. Its adhesive is activated with water, requiring a wallpaper water tray, available at hardware stores.
The adhesive wallpaper, with its fabric texture and cool white tone, is applied by removing a backing film. It is repositionable during installation, but we recommend having two people for optimal application. The adhesive is the ideal material for covering furniture or mirrors.
If the walls are properly prepared, no sticky residue will be left after removing the wallpaper. Whether pre-pasted or adhesive, neither will damage the walls.
A simple method to calculate the number of panels needed is to measure the total width to be covered (in inches) and divide it by 24.5 for pre-pasted wallpaper* or 24 for adhesive wallpaper. Since each panel is 24 inches wide, this calculation will give you the number required for your project.
Example: For a 100-inch wall, 100 ÷ 24.5 = 4.08. You will need to plan for 5 panels. Then, you just have to choose the height based on your needs.

Yes. Our pre-pasted wallpaper or stickers can be installed in all rooms of the house, including the bathroom, as long as it has a ventilation system. However, pre-pasted wallpaper is less suitable for areas prone to water splashes. In this case, we recommend using adhesive wallpaper instead.
Yes, you can order samples for each of our wallpapers. Each sample measures 8.5 x 11 inches and is an accurate reproduction of the full-size product. For certain large patterns, a reduced section is also included on the sample to provide a more complete view.

Yes, we offer the possibility to order custom wallpapers! You can use your own photo or illustration, as long as it has sufficient resolution. Photos taken with a cell phone are not of good enough quality; they should come from a professional camera.

No, it is important not to apply new wallpaper over existing wallpaper. The wall must be completely free of any old wallpaper to ensure proper adhesion and a high-quality result.

No, it is not possible to buy longer panels and cut them into smaller sections to place side by side. This would break the continuity of the pattern between the panels.
No, Station D does not offer installation services. However, our products are designed to be easy to install, and we are confident that you will be able to successfully install them yourself.
If you prefer to entrust the installation to a professional, we can recommend two installers: Denis Bouchard from Murotec or Michel Alary, master upholsterer. Although they are not affiliated with Station D, we know they offer high-quality work.
If you hire an installer, we recommend providing them with our installation guide. It outlines all the steps to follow to ensure proper installation, even for an experienced professional.
To clean your wallpaper, use a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive products, strong detergents, and rough sponges, as they could damage the wallpaper. For more stubborn stains, gently rub with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap. If your wallpaper is pre-pasted, be careful not to over-wet it, as the water may reactivate the adhesive and cause the wallpaper to peel off.
Whether pre-pasted or self-adhesive, all our wallpapers can be easily removed without damaging the walls or leaving sticky residues, provided the surface was properly prepared before installation.
- Pre-pasted: Peel off a corner and slowly pull to remove the panel. If the adhesive resists, moisten it to ease removal.
- Self-adhesive: Peel off a corner and gently remove the wallpaper. If the adhesive resists, gently heat the area with a hairdryer set to medium heat.
In both cases, do not pull too quickly to avoid damaging the paint or the wall.

It is difficult to give a precise answer, as the coverage area varies depending on the arrangement of the stickers. The closer you place them, the less space they will cover. It all depends on the style you want to create.

No, our wall decals are cut directly around the illustration. They do not have a white or transparent border.
No, it is not possible to order a custom quantity. We offer full or reduced sets of wall decals, allowing you to order the amount that best suits your needs while avoiding waste.
To remove our wall decals, lift a corner with the tip of your nail and slowly peel off the vinyl. If you feel resistance, use a hairdryer to heat the vinyl and continue lifting it diagonally. The heat will help it come off more easily.

Yes, our mini wallpapers for dollhouses can be installed in all dollhouses, provided that the surface is smooth.

Printing
All our products are designed, printed, and cut locally at our workshop in Mascouche. Even the installation guides and packaging boxes are made in our workshop. We prioritize high-quality raw materials and local production to ensure optimal control over our prints.
We use a high-performance digital printer that provides rich colors, great detail accuracy, continuity of patterns between panels, and most importantly, consistent colors from one order to the next.

Returns and exchanges
No, our products are neither exchangeable nor refundable, as each order is made to measure upon request. No cancellation, modification, or return is possible once the order is confirmed.
Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended to order samples to validate the colors, material finish, and pattern scale. Colors may vary from screen to screen, and only samples allow for accurate and precise validation. We cannot be held responsible for any perceived color differences if no sample was ordered.
In case of damage during transport or a manufacturing defect, please send detailed photos of the shipping box and the affected panel to info@stationd.ca within 7 days of receipt. After evaluation, if a defect is confirmed, a replacement of the affected panel will be issued at no charge.

Our current production times are 5 to 7 business days. Once production is complete, delivery takes approximately:
- 1 to 7 business days for a Canadian address
- 6 to 12 business days for a U.S. address
